Ik vertrek opnieuw

Vandaag begint dezelfde reis als op 2 augustus.
Andere vertrektijd, andere route.
Ik kan niet zeggen dat ik welgemoed in de auto stap maar het zal wel loslopen hoop ik.
Nog maar 1350km te gaan!

Beste Herman en Gaby
Sorry to read of your traumatic accident, but happier that you have escaped back to Nederland. We both hope that there have been no lasting consequences. You have had enough medical emergencies for quite a while. We also write to say how sorry we were not be able to say goodbye before leaving La belle France. You kindly invited us for an apero but we were just overwhelmed by the rush of things to do. We remember meetings with you with much warmth and we regret they have ended unless you visit Edinburgh or we manage to find our way back to Montouliers. We escaped the fierce heat only to put on warm clothes. We're getting used to the British class system again and enjoying Scots voices and of course seeing our families here and in Glasgow. We gather that our purchasers are not quite as delighted with Montouliers as we were but perhaps they'll grasp how to enjoy life there. They'll soon be the only full time Brits there as winter nears. We wish you all the very best and perhaps tot ziens. Ian and Fay
